In 2020, after a year of DIY renovation, the Flying Carpet Factory opened its doors to the world. Artists and creators from Japan and overseas are welcome to rent the space for their own activities in theatre, dance or other creative pursuits. We hope the Flying Carpet Factory will become a place of inspiration and collaboration that will invigorate the arts scene locally and beyond.
Rental studio
Artists and creators are welcome to rent the Flying Carpet Factory on a one-off or regular basis. The studio is ideal for drama and dance classes, small events and performances. The ground floor is suitable for set construction, carpentry and other crafts.
Studio rental fee: from 1000 yen per hour (cost varies according to use)
